I danced the soloist role in a 20-minute contemporary take (musical and choreographic) on Ravel’s “Bolero” and the dance works it has inspired. I was invited to significantly shape the soloist role, and brought my movement histories and choreography to the initial proposition. I danced with eighteen  dancers accompanied by two contemporary musicians, Ode Aseguinolaza and Vianney Oudart, in the piece by Sabaline Fournier. Lights by Sylvain Dubun. Photography by Tonio Modio.
